I have an amazing mother, who encouraged me to go to college to pursue and marry a rich man. Instead, I pursued and received my BFA in photography and became a kick-ass photographer. Her loss is your gain.

Having spent time working in the commercial & editorial photography world, I eventually found my way back to my first love: storytelling & documentary work. I am a curious, respectful observer and gatherer of candid moments, finding beauty in everyday minutiae and the mundane.

In addition to my documentary work, I specialize in portraiture of all types. From headshots to weddings (and everything in between), I carry my camera with compassion, humor, and a sense of wonder.

I am married, raising 2 boys and 1 dog and I call Oak Park, Il home.

I believe that less is more. 

I believe in forming relationships with clients. More important than that, I believe that the client/photographer relationship should feel "right".
